I thought this issue had been resolved, you wait until first FA period to fill those roster spots.
2 easy solutions-
start the draft at a time where passing out is not as likely (finishing at 1 a.m. is ridiculous)
fill out a 'last will and testament' worksheet so that when you are unable to complete the draft because you pass out, get raptured up, are dragged out of house by angry pimp for not giving $5 handjobs at truck stop, etc |

Are you actually serious about making a rule that if youre the highest point scorer that someone with a better record would get bumped so you have a play-off spot? First of all, no one with a shred of self respect or even a modest set of balls would except a play-off spot without earning it fair and square. Secondly, with your proposal, if the same scenario happened next year I would get bumped even though I have more total points than 3 other play-off teams. Thats fucking ridiculous.
Billy's not keeping a "stiff upper lip", he's acknowledging that SHIT HAPPENS, he plays in a brutal division and THATS LIFE!! He's not whining little like a little bitch about it so no one else needs to be either.

I think it was an obvious fluke that the highest scoring team didn't make the play-offs. Has that ever happened in past? I don't think so. Will it happen again? Likely not. What weakness is exposed by with the teams with 6 best records getting into playoffs?
I think the Giants last year were 8 and 8 heading into the play-offs. There were multiple AFC teams with better records who didn't make the play-offs.
lets judge the system as a whole and not just on a one time statistical anomally. |

Area Man Detained for Fucking Sandwich -ap
Chattanooga native Pat Silberman was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Lewd and Lascivious conduct for alledgedly fornicating with an Arbee's Beef n' Cheddar this Thanksgiving weekend at the Northgate Mall parking lot. At 1:35 pm, an anonymous mall patron reported to security that "there was a man in the parking lot fucking a roast beef sandwich". When the guard went to investigate he found the report to be "totally accurate". The arresting officer stood outside the passenger window of Silberman's Yukon for 5 minutes unable to get his attention. According police, he was "absolutely wearing out that poor sandwich. There was processed cheese and what I pray to god was Horsey sauce everywhere. His music was cranked up so loud the speakers were crackling". The fire department was called and arrived on scene at 1:57 pm. After tearing off the door with the Jaws of Life, Silberman was pulled from the car and wrestled to the ground.
At an arraignment hearing that afternoon, Silberman plead No Contest to both charges stating he was "sorry for the inconvenience" and asked if "there was anyway we could keep all this on the serious DL?". After the laughter in the court room died down, Judge Allen Edgar sentenced Silberman to 100 hours community service and he is banned from Northgate for life.
Silberman is now reportedly giving motivational speeches at area middle schools and churches entitled "Don't jack off in public, OK? I did and got caught. Huge embarressment. If all else fails and you just absolutely have to beat off in public, for gods sake dont use a sandwich. It really just makes matters worse." |

and I am refering to dealing with Kent's alternative lifestyle. I'm leaning toward Keith's proposal. If you know its going to come down to the wire with total points, audit stats until you shit yourself and throw up a little bit in your mouth. Any discrepanicies will be aired and dealt with prior to the last week of season. That alleviates the "midnight hour" controversies, dissapointment, etc. We put way to much time and effort into this to not have the correct teams go to play-offs.
Matt, don't leave the league. That fuckin Calavander Cottonmouth guy might come back to take your place. Does anybody remember that guy??......what the hell?? |

| I would like to have more confidence in the software to pick-up the mistakes. I don't know jack shit about programming, but I know Keith does this in his spare time because he loves it. I think the site is killer but the scoring accuracy could be improved on. Is there a program we could buy that can accurately process stats, past and present? I would be happy to pitch in extra cash each year if something like that is available. |

| point totals should be "certified" before kick-off the following week. Any NFL corrections that come out are usually within days of the game so 1 week should be ample time. No one should ever have to review 13 weeks of stats. Period. |

Going forward, it is best if any stat or scoring errors are reported on the Help Desk and not to league forums. Everyone can find the Help Desk by either clicking the SUPPORT button at the top of the page or the orange Report Stats link in the footer.
By reporting them to the Help Desk and having all of these types of issues centralized, you'll know if you even need to report the issue - it may have already been reported.
It will also help to keep the league forums tidy and focused on league issues.
Also, the Help Desk sends emails directly to me and to my cellphone, notifying me in realtime of the issue.
I hope that you can understand that it is unreasonable to expect the administrator to go and visit every league forum in order to ferret out stat issues, especially as Customized Football grows in size.
Going forward, any stat errors reported on league forums are not guaranteed that they will be read by an administrator.
In addition, any stat issues that are posted on league forums will be deleted when found and those posts will not be counted towards each user's total # of posts (this is what gives you your rank on the forum pages).
Thanks for your understanding of this process and for your patience whenever stat issues have arisen. By being more systematic with these types of issues, Customized Football will be better for everyone.
