So as Koo brought up. It is great to see everyone's faces and it should happen more often to mend our bruises and bring us back together. So a weekly NFL game of the week zoom (or whatever) meeting should happen.
This Sunday is Halloween so I don't know if everyone can make it.

In addition, as the commissioner had done previously during his job interview, I mentioned that I cannot work during my fantasy football draft every year. My interviewer smiled and said, "I understand, we will honor all your prior commitments."
So I'll see you boys in September. Weekend of the 12th correct?

Sorry to hear about this but I'm really glad i had the opportunity to get to know you. I hope everything gets better with your mom brother. I definitely don't have a problem with you being at the draft house.

Had Dan Bailey as my start for week one. He got dropped during free agency when I picked up Bryant. It should have been Prater that got the boot. I'm going to start Bryant so that I get points, but I'm supposed to have bailey on my roster. |

I think you're right. I must have committed a horrible sin in a previous life, like fucked a goat, or something to end up going to North Dakota but I think it'll be a good change and a great adventure. I'll definitely discover myself more because there really isn't much to discover there other than the great outdoors maybe. I'll definitely be speeding around on my motorcycle during the summertime.
I'm heading up there because I'm changing careers and going to PT school up there. It's cheap and it has a good track record. This is what my ping-pong study table sessions during the last draft has culminated to... NORTH fucking DAKOTA! Almost not worth it.
We'll have to do the next draft up north next year, that'd be awesome, it's only several hours away. This year will have to be skype as Keith has mentioned, but who knows... maybe I'll surprise you guys and increase the number of human nights. Or as I like to think of it... human knights, and we are the men around the round table!
Wish me luck in my adventures. I'm sure I'll have a shindig in town before I leave for anyone who's close.

I'm okay with the groups decision.
But my thoughts is that this is a downgrade.... huge downgrade in rooms, if there is no internet, DEAL BREAKER! If anything, they should give us a huge discount. Like, percentage of rooms downgraded = % Clearance. If not, we should find a different spot.
If so, then cool, I'm totally down with pitching a tent and camping on the lawn, it'd be kinda amazing, and I won't have to hear you mofo's snore and can rub one out in peace.

Overall, I'm okay with any rules that are agreed upon with the league, but based on NFL rules, why not determine the draft order based on the record of the previous season, especially since this is a league of returning owners.
Overall, randomized order by chance such as a lottery seems like a good idea and works but since this league doesn't have an incentive (other than bragging rights) for being the champion, I can see how the winner may want to claim their prize by getting first pick.
We could have 1/2/3 being 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners, and the rest randomized or by record.
That's what I was thinking, let me know what you think...
We could get more complicated and do compensatory picks but that would only be fair if we have a dynasty league in which we keep players from the previous season.
Just a thought. |

I had a bid in for Eddie Lacy for the next waiver, and now he's not there and actually on Squirrel Masters team (which I played week 1). Also, I don't recall him having Eddie Lacy in his lineup... I'm wondering what happened, and how was he able to add him after the games have already started and take him off waivers?
No accusations being made, I just wanted to make sure I'm not going crazy or anything.

I initially submitted a waiver for Brent Celek once for 5 ph.
Then I did some reading and submitted a second waiver request for Celek and Hunter.
Then... I immediately redid it a third time realizing that I might have only done 1ph and changed both to 5 ph.
And then I checked and I didn't get both... although no one bidded on Celek... so i dunno
so maybe the 5ph bid didn't get saved... is there a way to double check your bids after you've submitted them. Because maybe i don't know how, but when you submit a waiver request, there's no record of what you've already submitted?
Either way, I got Celek now... Although I think I should have rightfully got Hunter also, I don't know what his max bid was, and if you were to give him to me now, it would be unfair plus I don't want to be accused as a cheater or whatever so I'll let it go.... there's more waivers this season I'm sure. |

So I calculated my points, and I guess this league doesn't take into account the decimal system. For example, 59 yards receiving = 5 points. And also, receiving and rushing yards are not tabulated together for a total and then /10 for points?
I'm still trying to figure out how I lost a point magically... :-/
