    This is the week
I begin the defense of my second title! Will there be a repeat? Will it be a first timer? The NoOb? Or will one of the owners with a title or two (or more), add to their mantle? Very exciting week! Can’t wait to see you whether it’s live or on the tv. In the words of Jim Nance: The Tradition Continues.

    N00b comin for you all
I'm very excited to be in this league with y'all. I've been hammering through the rules and scoring, building my draft kit and preparing a performance like no other. Excited for this weekend which I will state is the first action for my accent to being crowned champion. Looking forward to a good draft weekend fellas!

    no need to bring eggs
Despite having some misfortune in chicken land this year (went from 16 hens to 10), our hens are hitting their egg laying stride and so I'll have a few dozen eggs available for cooking. I also pickled two different batches of our eggs for snacks.

Hopefully we can save an egg for Zach's face after his draft.

    Well n00b
I am not sure how confident you should be if you do not know the difference between ascent and accent.
Unless you are referring to your Pacific NW accent, which is clearly inferior to the Southern accent commonly heard in NC. Just sayin' y'all!

    Apologies
I didn’t think a league full of dudes who get shitfaced and talk smack had grammar nazis in it. From here forward I’ll only speak in shakespearian to you Kent.

As an aside, wherefore isn’t th're a dram trophy neath thy nameth liketh most oth'rs? Has't thee not been in this league f'r many years? I wouldst assume with many years w'rth of attempts, cometh many chances. Doest t not?

    food updates
Alex is going to bring sandwich fixings (bread, meat, cheese), artichoke dip, pita chips, and burger/dog buns.

I'm tossing in Beyond Burgers and real meat sausages and bratwursts for the buns. I'm also going to provide black beans and tortilla fixings, along with homegrown salsa and hot sauces and chips. And the aforementioned two giant jars of homemade pickled eggs along with a few dozen fresh eggs.

    I don't have a plan.
I'll certainly bring food, however if you are all in a pinch or want something specific, just shout. (Ice, Snacks, sauces, etc). I plan to hit the road by 6am Saturday morning at the latest so I'll be there around 8:30 - at the latest. I still have a deluxe Zoom account so we can definitely use it Friday night if nobody else has the goods. Would like to use my laptop Saturday, but I can Use my phone/worksheets if we must use my laptop for Saturday. Respectfully, would ask we limit lascvious, overt "use" or bags of dicks on the Zoom as it is linked to my school account. Ha Ha! If that's all taken care of - all the better!

    So very excited.

    Tech Setup for the Draft
I'll have a static computer there that will have the Zoom setup (If we can use your account, that would be awesome) and for the draft picks to be entered on. It will be streaming to the TV so we can see all the remote boys and the draft board. I'll have a webcam setup on top of the TV as well so remote folks can get the full room with the podium and everything. So really just need you to sign in to the computer for Zoom and it'll all be set.

    Nice.
And I'll send an invite link on Friday for the First Rounds. Might set up a time to link (maybe during the Thursday night game?) just to ensure all the dots are connecting?

    Happy to do.

    Awww
Bless you and Dat's lil hearts. For the record, I did make it to one Super Bowl and got crushed by Keith. Maybe this is the year that someone rises from the Depths of Hel to claim Victory!

    pillows
We'll have 3 couches and probably 2+ airbeds (confirmation later today), and can provide linens and blankets for these. But we don't really have many bed pillows, so if you are sleeping in the house then it may be good to bring your own bed pillow unless you enjoy sleeping with sofa pillows.

    Sleepin' at Keith's
I am bringing a tent, so others can claim indoor sleeping options. Looking forward to it. Let me know if there is anything I need to bring.
