| How has this league come to the horrible, pathetic, crap, terrible, awful, make me puke point scoring sytem that it is now? Why do RBs get points easier for yards rushed then WR and TE for receiving yards. And QBs get points for passing yards even easier. By far the worst system I've ever seen. |

Can't we all just agree that certain players will be started (i.e. Rodgers, Lacy, Cobb, Nelson, Lynch)
Some others are a little more questionable but likely starts (i.e. Wilson, Harvin, Crosby, Hauschka)
While others are less likely options that you probably would need some decisions to be made (i.e. Boykin, Baldwin, TEs, etc.) Probably not starting these guys week one though. |

| It's only a matter of time before all these specialized networks go away. NFL, Big Ten, Longhorn, MLB, NBA, etc. Nobody actually watches these channels except on the few days that they actually have live sports. Eventually, cable companies will be forced to offer an 'al a carte' programming package and I'm surely not paying for the MLB network. NFL network is probably the only one that even stands a chance of continuing far into the future. In the meantime, I'll just stream the crap for free when they actually have a game and even then I might not watch. |

5. That is one way to do it yes. Either that way or Win = 2VP and top 50%=1, same thing really, just a matter of how you like the numbers to look.
4. Could go something like (might be able to pull an example from yahoo scoring as well, but I'm just making this up)
0 = 10pts.
1-6 = 7pts.
7-10 = 4pts.
11-14 = 1pt.
15-17 = 0pts.
18-24 = -2pts.
25-31 = -4pts.
32-38 = -7pts
39+ = -10pts |

2. Reduce rosters to 17 players
3. Kickers should get 3 pts for the shortest of FGs and up-tick for longer FGs.
4. Negative Defense pts should be given when the Defense allows a ton of pts with max of -10.
5. VP points - should decrease the value of the 50% win VP, maybe a half VP for those.
6. 4 Divisions
7. No Kickers, coaches, or defenses in first three days of draft.
8. Some penalty for not nominating players during draft for the first week.
I think much of this would apply to Midgard as well. |

Scoring:
Kickers, I think FGs from 1-39 should be worth 3 pts.
DF/ST, think pt spreads need tweaking, such as 0=10pts, 1-7=6pts, 8-10=4pts, 10-14=2pts, 14-17=1pts, 17-24=0pts, 24-28=-1pt, 28-31=-2pts, 31-35=-4pts, 35+=-6pts.
Fumbles should be -2pts.
TD passes by anyone should be 6pts. PAT's pass should be 2pts.
Roster size:
20 is pretty large for a 12 team league, I'd suggest 18, and open up the auction a little more so you aren't required to have 3 QBs, but instead have more optional spots.
Live Scoring and Standings:
Too many stat errors for my liking. I feel like I have to audit each and every week to make sure I didn't miss pts somewhere.
I think the "VP" has a little too much power. Maybe you should get a half pt for 1st half of week's highest scores. (or mayabe 2 VPs for a win, 1 for scoring in top half)
Is 4 divisions too much? seems kind of crazy that a 9 VP team goes to the playoffs and they get a 4 seed. If you wouldn't want to change to 3 divisions, then maybe seeding in the playoffs can be like the NBA, top 3 spots are for division winners, but 4-6 are determined by VPs.
Free Agency:
Should go all season long, even playoffs.

| You had to have your nominations in by today at 10am. FA only runs twice a week. Wed. and Sun. at 10am. So if you don't have your picks in, then you can't make any FA moves. Have to wait until sunday now. |

| I think there is a glitch in the passing yds scoring system from 125 to 149 its 5 pts but that from 150 to 174, its 7 points. Should only be 6 points. Then each 25 yds after that should gain 1 pt. |

Seems a little out of whack...Defense gets zero points for recovering a fumble or blocking a kick? A TE has to gain 30 yds. before getting 1 point? A 100yd receiving game is only worth 4 pts? 100 yd rushing game is only worth 5 pts? Yet a 300 yd passing game is worth 10 pts. Do defenses really get points for # of tackles? a 29 yd FG is only worth 2 pts? Fumble lost only -1?
I think this needs some tweaking ASAP! I think it is way too TD heavy. |

Again that's why there are 2 RBs and 3 WRs, 2 x 20 = 40, top WRs usually get around 13 TDs, 13x3=39. I've been in leagues for years and I've never seen the 4 pt for passing TDs.
I think there should just be max draft amount so one person can't hoard all of one position. That's just not fun for anyone. |

| I agree...QB passing TDs should still be 6. You only get to start one versus 2 RB and 3 WR. Also, does it really make sense to have a draft minimum of 3 QBs. That's minimum 36 QBs being drafted. Last I heard, only 32 teams in the NFL. I think that needs dropped to 2. |
