i don't know why my points are so quickly discarded. regardless of what you say, defense is only 1 of 9 positions in Ragnarok, and giving them 40% of the scoring power devalues every other position dramatically and absurdly. counting the efforts of 11 players as equal to the efforts of one is lame, and devalues the great individual performances in this league. and even though you noted that TB and Tennessee are better than Arizona and the Jets, there's evidence from years of fantasy football to counter your anecdotal evidence. defenses are hardest to predict. chances are, as bad as Zona and the Jets are, one of them will outscore Tennessee this year. The Jets are already outscoring them, 4 - 2. i'd also like to point out that TB was taken in the 4th round, while the Jets were nabbed in the 17th. The reason? TB is the rare defense that can be counted on to score! the new system rewards their consistency and overall dominance in a way the old system didn't! having a good defense can distance you from owners that have bad ones (like Tennessee. just kidding Erik), even if they don't score 40% of 60 pts/game (or 24 points a game).
finally, the point about LT and Faulk sucking yesterday shows that they suck, and should be dropped immediately. LT and Faulk owners, let me know if you want to trade either for my backup defense.

i want team offense!

if defense is considered as 40% of team's success, it's not fair that Ricky gets no credit for helping Chambers get 2 TDs yesterday. i mean, the team scored, right? not just Chambers. so i want a team offense that is 50% of the scoring to counter defense's 40%!
maybe we could draft three positions, offense, defense and special teams. that way, we'd reflect the NFL. or maybe just one team. I draft the Eagles. just think, the draft would only be 2 rounds long! now we'd all get home that much earlier on draft day. problem solved!!!!
