What's with receiving stats basically cutting off at 220 yards? Antonio Brown had 227 receiving yards - which is good for 20 points. Then he had a 57 yard reception, but that didn't gain him any more points. He still needed 53 more yards to gain any more points.
If those were rushing stats, the player would have gained 4 points. If a QB had 427 passing yards and threw a pass that went for 57 yards, he'd gain 4 more points. But after getting 220 receiving yards, a player has to gain 117 more receiving yards just to gain any more points - and he only gains 6 points. A QB going from 420 to 537 yards would gain 8 points. Going from 220 to 337 rushing yards would gain a player 9 points (those stop scoring completely at 295). This just doesn't seem right. |

| The little school from Long Branch, NJ (one town over from where I grew up) opened their basketball season with an overtime win at UCLA. Beating UCLA might not be a huge accomplishment for the UNCs and Dukes of the world, but it's a huge win for Monmouth. |
