Keeper Deadline Clarification
|

|
|
| Does August 8th at 12:00 AM mean that we need to have our keeper(s) selected by the end of the day on Sunday the 7th, or by end of the day Monday the 8th? I don't know why this always confuses me, but it always does. |

like, as soon as August 8th begins at 12am, the website, like, processes the keepers and rookies.
note that only Erik can keep Michael Vick, even if he doesn't own him. i think that's in the rules somewhere. |

Thank you for the keeper clarification. I now have to go tell my boss that I'm taking off Monday for Ragnarok purposes.
And yes, I am aware of the Michael Vick rule. It's unfortunate, but a rule's a rule. My plan is to take Aaron Rodgers at #2, so that i'll at least have the 2nd best QB instead of the best QB. That's pretty good. |

| After an inquiry, Will has decided to resign from Ragnarok. He does not have the time in his life with his job, family, etc. that would allow him to make the draft this year, much less participate at the level which Ragnarok demands. I have given him a chance to post his own resignation on the board, but he has not responded as of yet. In the interest of expiditing the process of finding a new owner at this late time, I Have decided to make this post. Also, I would like to nominate Walker Bradam to take over the Hitmen franchise. Walker is a FF freek and lives in Raliegh, and is excited and eager to participate fully in Ragnarok. Please feel free to nominate someone else or vote on walker joining Ragnarok. A copy of the initial inquiry and subsequent emails between Will and I can be viewed by emailing me. |

| Now, the next most pressing issue. After Stu masterfully rescued his team from the his injury riddled team of '09, to the Ragnarok heights of 2k10. The Department of Defense has seen it fitting to close the Walter Reed Medical Center, stating, "Due to budget cuts, its mission will be carried out by other facilities." So, does this mean that Stuart will be casing his colors and fading away. Maybe, he will emerge again under a new guise, or better yet, like the Clinic be absorbed by the National Historical Society and only be looked at form behind velvet ropes. The latter will at least give the rest of us a chance this year. Its a bad oman Stu! |

Walker had to decline the league invitation when he realized that the Ragnarok Draft conflicts with the weekend-long Hopscotch music festival that he has mucho expensivo VIP tickets to. He won't be able to be there for the Draft.

24 hour delay

i still haven't heard from the new candidate Mike "Halloween" Myers, and despite being a finalist since saturday neither he nor Billy has provided Mike's email address. i got a message from Scott last night, and if nothing happens on the Mike front by this afternoon then there will be a change of plans and we'll go with Scott.
in either case, i think we'll be getting a good owner and we'll be processing those Keepers and Rookies tonight! |

Alternative to delay

| I don't think a delay is our only option. Beside the fact that Will left his team with only one viable keeper, effectively making the selection process a moot point, we could either: a) let the new guy get a little peek of everyone else's keeper as a goodwill gesture, or b) ask him not to look at anyone else's team until he's declared as a first test of his honesty. Either way, we're good. Why delay our glorious keeper day because we got screwed over by another Coldplay owner? I say, keep declaration day holy. Long live Ragnarok. |
