Allright, Let's get down to brass tacks..

| One month away from the best weekend of the year and the start of my personal "new year". Let's have some folks confirm some goings on that perticular weekend. First and for most, Draft on sat. at 1pm? Who will not be there in person? Croquet tourny is when? do zack, joe and billy and anybody else want to try to golf? poker friday night? maybe poker sat. night after the draft.. I don't know, let's talk.... football. |

I'd like to play golf, but I don't see how it would fit in. We COULD do it Saturday morning, but since the draft is at 1, we would miss the ramping up, unless we did nine holes early. I've got a brand new swing boys! :) Poker is great. I may be the only one with fundage issues but if we play both nights, could we maybe do a 10 or 12 buy in each night? Though since I win every year, it may be mute. LET'S ROCK!

I can't wait for draft weekend. You can certainly count me in for in-person attendance, and I'd be up for poker on either night I imagine. Hell, even croquet sounds not terrible.
The 1pm start makes me think that we could try to do something for lunch. I'm guessing there aren't that many places that deliver to Efland - maybe some sort of catering situation could work? Or at least I or others could pick up something for the group. I'd absolutely pay my share and then some to make sure that people have more in their stomachs than beer.
Did I mention that I can't wait for draft weekend? |

ya, a 1pm start looks like the ticket. for croquet, not sure - a saturday morning tourney would conflict with golf and also the Factor is working that morning. one possibility - we could do it during a break in the draft, like after the 8th round or something.
for food, i was going to hit Costco and load up and also make some dishes. we can supplement that by catering if everyone wants to, or we can do a potluck and the local dudes can each bring a dish.
did i mention that the first pick in the draft is available? |

| Might be nice to get out on Sunday morning and work out the weekend on the course. It would just be if Joe and I didn't need to get back by our usual time. We'll probably throw them in anyway and we'll figure it out. I'm stoked for it all! |

Possible work conflict

I may have to skip the traditional Friday night activities, as I might need to open the deli on Saturday morning. My boss and I have this conflict every year, as it is also the first day of some hunting season.
I will also be looking for some kind soul that is going to draft on Saturday to catch a ride with. |

draft day potluck

for the local yokels, how about if we do a potluck for the draft? strictly voluntary, and just one dish each and we'd be set. i think we'd get more variety, better food, it would cost less, and some of the carnivore cravings could be satiated.
it sounds like we may get all nine attending owners at the poker game?! how f'n awesome would that be?
oh, one more thing: Pete Carroll sucks. |
