what was our tie-breaking rules, again?

| The first level of tie-breaker is Head Coach, and in the case of that being a tie as well, did we define a second level tie-breaker? |

I think we said that DF was the second level of tie-breaker.

| I think we agreed right before the '04 draft that tie breakers went coach-defense-tie. Unfortunately, that didn't actually make it into the rules page on the site. |

What's the ruling here?

| I remember approving a vote to include tiebreakers at the 2004 draft (and there's an old Smashmouth Gazette that mentions needing to vote), but nothing ever got into the rules section. So do we have tiebreakers or not? |

yes, 1) Coach, 2) Defense was what I also thought

Anyway, Joe, do you really not remember voting on a tiebreaker system? It was such a big deal a couple years ago because we had so many ties. It's part of the reason we ended up drafting coaches. I don't know why it's not on the rules page, but i really do think it's an approved rule. Now it's true that I slept with Keith so that he'd agree with my memory of the rule, but except for that minor transgression I haven't been trying to cheat you. Really. |
