Last week Steve Young laid in to the NFL and called them a bunch of hypocritical bastards. If you can find it, it's well worth watching. Long and short he said integrity of the game doesn't matter as long as viewership remains high they will not flinch to the referee union. It is probably meaningless but I wrote to the major beer corps and ask them to pull ads until this is resolved.

agreed, the shield is damaged
and to be honest, it is so bad that i am starting to question the point of watching both real NFL games as well as giving a shit about the fantasy side of it. by extension, fantasy results are being blown as well. just counting the MNF game, how many fantasy teams across the country won a game because they had to start Golden Tate and got awarded a bogus extra TD, or how many fantasy teams lost a game because the Packers DF not only were robbed of an INT but also saw their Points Held jump from 7 to 14?
and how many games this week were also decided by horrendous calls? what about the first two weeks?
with football and fantasy football being a game of inches, and with playoff qualifying often coming down to the wire, what is the point of participating if the game itself is more akin to professional wrestling than a legitimate sport?
and Pete Carroll, you still suck: have some balls and admit it was a series of blown calls instead of talking like it was legit.
i wish the Packers would have refused to come out for that PAT.
