Let's see, my luck in Aurora has been Fan...wait for it...tastic!!
Top Pick: Foster, misses 1st game, sucks the second, and his injury is still a concern.
2nd Pick: Charles out for the year.
3rd Pick: I try to bid up Manning with no intention of getting him. Then I get stuck with a guy who is 90-99% done for the year.
4th Pick: Wayne - seriously downgraded thanks to Manning going down.
So my dream team is down to Rex Grossman, unknown RB situation in Texas (great not knowing which RB to start), a timeshare in Green Bay, and a Sleeper pick in Hightower (might end up being my best player).

oh wait, Lance Moore is also injured.
does anyone else think this is a bizarre season so far? i don't recall seeing this many high profile injuries in such a short time. on top of that, we're seeing some historic high fantasy scores throughout the leagues - i don't know if it is matchup driven, or if a result of the lockout is that offenses are having an advantage over defenses, but we're seeing some amazing performances so far. Maclin with 170+ yards last night (in what was the longest game ever)? Steve Smith with 330+ yards so far, while playing with a rookie QB and no complementary WR? Tom Brady with 7,132,843 yards after two games. the list goes on and on. |
