Keith, I completely understand, but still disagree. Would this scenario be any different if we had our FA period as was foretold? Most likely yes. I know it looks weird again but Chris and I are cool with it, and in the future I will try to take into account the feelings & interests of the other teams in the league that I am trying to beat. |

Hey guys- Just wanted to weigh in. Chris and I have playing fantasy for years and have been screwed by people trying to get away with something. Believe you me there was no collusion and Chris would stab me in the back as fast as anyone else (he is a don). I realize in retrospect this looks unusual. Chris only got Mcnabb, b/c he drove the price up and got stuck w/him. He would have only used him once b/f the injury and doesn't like him. He did like Orton more than me and I do think the value of Olsen is higher this season. I also think Mcnabb is fragile and is probably 1 hit away from ending his career. I waited for FA on Sat. and Sun. as promised and b/c I didn't want to open up the season with either QB's I called Dan, Keith, Chris and Will to see if they would be willing to trade. Chris & Will made offers. Again, in retro' this looks weird but I take pride in my team and try to be competetive. Shockers are right, bad trades are made all the time (Randy Moss for a 4th rounder?). Keith, when I logged on to the site yesterday the first thing I saw was the voting thing and I thought you were being sarcastic so I mistakenly voted. Not until after reading the board did I realize the gravity of the situation. Thanks for hearing my side. |

Let's just me and you start trash talking. I printed up rosters before they went AWOL and now I understand your reservations. Jeez, your team sucks! Seriously, you've got solid QB's, 5, count 'em, 5 starting RB's and good potential at WR/TE based upon their teams' offseasons. A couple of smart moves and you can finish second in the league to me. Anybody given any thought as to how many players they're going to cut? |

When should we have the cut date? Last year I think we had it July 15th. It should probably be before training camps start up, which I believe is around the 27th of July. Keith, when can we see FA pickups?

Without a doubt, Johnson & Boston should headline this poll. Burress is an underachiever. I should know, I've the two biggest in him & Stallworth. What about K-Rob, Galloway, Az & T. Glenn? Fantasy guys seem to overrate these guys each year. Burress & Stallworth will be ranked low on lists this year because of poor past performance. This may be their last shot. Let's keep the debate going. What about overrated/underrated QB's/RB's? Zerroue,Maddox? Discuss amongst yourselves. This week Tuesday or Sunday are good to meet. |

is my vote. Mainly this is to make quid more important. Hopefully within the next couple of years we can have things a little more in line, so that when we go to make a FA bid or trade that it will be something to consider how much quid we use. Bring on FA and cheerleaders. |

I really thought ESPN was going to pick up the contract. With Suzy Kolber on the sidelines we should make megabucks. Hmm... Suzy, oh wait. What the hell were we talking about? OK I vote for option #1 and we need to figure out rebates so no one gets screwed. I think the issue is the trade between Scott and Jamie, because we all expected to get 100 quid for next season and free agency was nowhere on the horizon. I don't think Scott would have offered everything if he knew of possible changes. Maybe this year we should go down to say, 80 quid and next year 50. Jamie has a crapload of quid, so hopefully option #1 is ok with him. I think this is a learn as we go kinda thing, and I think this is the way we improve our league. I very much want to do the FA thing and most importantly we need everybody to weigh in and vote. |

Trades
|
|
|
|
The Ducks have traded D. Carr & W. Dunn to the Vultures for W. Green & A. Toomer. Also B. Franks to the Bulldogs for M. Pollard. I agree with the free agency idea. Maybe just a one week period to fill in holes with guys who weren't available during the season. |

At 13-1 you're really starting to piss me off. Take care of business and enjoy it while it lasts, cause you know Vick & Holmes are just one play away from "what could have been". The flu's going around bad in KC; I think Holmes is gonna be out at least two weeks. |

Lifting the rule sounds good to me. Mainly because I've noticed in some of my potential trades that this rule has been overlooked. Also, 8:00 on Saturday? A lot of trades could happen after midnight when everyone is three sheets to the wind. If a trade does occur, it should be posted asap, as well as maybe giving your opponent a call since Keith may not have time to make roster changes. In this particular case, I don't think there is any harm in trading kickers to make sure your lineup is as good as it can be. |

Concerning a coach on the roster, I'm for it. 4 teams in the playoffs & 17 weeks sounds good as well. Working on a good name and while I know it's early I would prefer the 24th to draft. Just have to keep our fingers crossed that no one gets injured. Only one preseason game left at that point and for most of our guys, they would only be playing one quarter, if that. FYI I'm moving and won't have internet access for a few days. I'll update phone info and anything else as soon as I can.
