St. Martin trades J. Feely/K/Atl & 3 quid to Surf City for M. Stover/K/Bal. St. Martin will need to insert Stover into the starting lineup for today's games. Thank you. |

shit - should we reopen the discussion on the Shenanigans Rule?
technically, there is a freeze on trades at 8 pm on Saturday night, as our concern for being able to apply the Shenanigans Rule decided it.
i'm finding this restriction to be a pain in the arse, and what does everyone think about lifting it, and saying that a Shenanigans vote can result in retro-fixing starting rosters. like the general philosophy of Aces High, that would put the onus and a penalty on the owners involved in any "shady" trades, as a nullification of illegal starters almost ensures a loss.
in any case, we do have the rule in place now and i guess the trade shouldn't be allowed. personally, i'm fine with lifting it now and granting the trade.
if anyone would like to chime in on this topic, please jump in. |

Fine with me

Lifting the rule sounds good to me. Mainly because I've noticed in some of my potential trades that this rule has been overlooked. Also, 8:00 on Saturday? A lot of trades could happen after midnight when everyone is three sheets to the wind. If a trade does occur, it should be posted asap, as well as maybe giving your opponent a call since Keith may not have time to make roster changes. In this particular case, I don't think there is any harm in trading kickers to make sure your lineup is as good as it can be. |
