Show Me Your TD's has clinched the #1 seed and Seeping Anus got the #2 seed, and both teams get a bye in the first week of the playoffs. The remaining teams battling it out in the first round are the #3 Boone Dox, #4 Mormon HQ Squirrel Master, #5 The Dumbells, and #6 Chapel Hill Uranium Gerbils.
The losers all have their own loser tournament, with #7 Early Men and #8 Dream Catchers getting their loser byes.
Aurora Bowla 2023 Commish - 12/10/2023
Starting in 2022 when the NFL went to an 18 week regular season, Aurora added a Week 14 where we all play each other and the top 6 teams get both a Win and a Victory Point. Temporary, placeholder matchups have been posted to the schedule and then the final matchups will be determined once the games are completed.
There is only one wildcard spot remaining and the Chapel Hill Uranium Gerbils, Rio Duran, Dream Catchers, Ice King, and Puma Punka Early Men are all still alive!

Aurora Royal Rumble is This Week! Metalhead - 12/6/2022
In Week 14, all Aurora teams will enter the square circle and compete for both a Win and a Victory Point. The top six teams will all earn both and the rest will be thrown outside the ring and onto a perfectly placed folding table. A placeholder matchups schedule will be posted but that will simply be a mechanism in order to generate scores in the royal rumble.
Football Social on Sunday October 9th Metalhead - 10/7/2022
We're having a little fantasy football social on Sunday if anyone would like to join us! I know that most Aurora owners are not in the area but Ian appears to live in Chapel Hill and if anyone else is around then they are also most welcome to come out and watch some football.
I'm doing an overnight smoke of a Boston butt and also a pork picnic, and will be timing it to be pulled sometime around noon. I'll have homemade coleslaw and NC vinegar sauce, too.
Football starts at 9:30am and some folks will be here for the early game, too. My plan is for coffee in the morning and then switching over to beers when the pork is ready. We'll be watching football all day. Currently, about 4-5 owners who play on the customizedfootball.com website are planning on hanging out and enjoying the day.

I'm running a little behind and still need to get a few things set up. Everyone will be able to fill out their Free Agency forms starting on Thursday and will have two days of opportunity to fine tune their submissions before everyone's bids get processed on Saturday night.

Yes, "It's TIME!" It is the end of June and our auction is a mere 7 weeks away. It is time to raise your hand if you want to jump back into Aurora for the 2022 season.
Speaking for myself, last year was a very strange year for me both inside and outside of football and I am eager to get back into the old-school swing of things for the new season. I'm looking forward to ramping up the social interaction and also to taking home a 2022 Aurora Championship.
