We should have done this on our 25th anniversary, but things were a bit screwed up post covid. Billy proposed that we do something special for our draft....So how about it? Let's go to Vegas!!!! |

I'll go!

Let's go to Vegas! Doing a cursory look, flights are about 300 bucks and there are amazing AirBnB's with swimming pools for about $30/night per person. |

I'm good with any destination

As long as I'm with the boys, this West coast kid's destination doesn't matter. |

I would love to go

but I get back from Europe like 2 weeks before the draft and I think if I do 10 days in Amsterdam and Scotland and then go directly to Vegas I may in fact die. Don't let me hold y'all back though if that's the plan everyone wants to do |

Seems that a 2024 Vegas trip may not be ideal
Despite my willingness to go, it would also be difficult for me due to all of the other traveling (and corresponding expenses) that I'll be doing this year (including an 11 night trip to northern Wisconsin this summer).
Let's bring our Draft Weekend focus back to our normal routines for 2024....
I'm assuming that there will be a high desire this year to go back to a lakehouse. Speaking for myself, I value a large venue more than having a lake nearby, especially if the large venue is off the beaten path and is a good value. That being said, a lakehouse is certainly A-OK in my book.
It's already April and we really do need to try to dial this in as soon as we can, because venues are already starting to get booked.
What are everyone's thoughts about a general area to target for Draft Weekend 2024?
Grace and Peace, Keith

Value vs. location
I am more interested in value over actual location. Inflation is kicking my ass. I would be happy with a Lake Gaston Lake house but really I need to spy the dollars. |

In reflecting on past drafts, we typically don’t ever use the luxury items. Sure, the quad boys golf, but that’s not part of the house. We haven’t even played pool the last two years. We play corn hole which comes with us. We draft, watch football, drink, eat, and catch a buzz. Maybe we do scale back on a nice place that simply houses enough of us with a place to sleep, internet/TV, a kitchen, and a few toilets. We have had places with two kitchens and we only used one of them! Not everyone swims. Hmm.
Yes. Same response as I have always had about Sin City. If I go to Vegas before or without Kelly, she’s kicking my hard ass.
