Rules Proposal 12.1: Free Agency Start Date
Looking at past seasons, we've been waiting until Week 1 to do Free Agency (specifically, the day before the opening Thursday night game in Week 1). It is hereby proposed that we have one Free Agency session on the Thursday before Labor Day (September 1st this year), assuming that the auction is completed.

Free Agency
I wish there was a way to pick up free agents before kickoff... really need another wide receiver, and I've been out of town away from my computer. I tried to pick up Trent Sherfield for Jags D but there's no option to do so. :(

I think that next year we should move that 12pm (eastern time) to 12:45pm.
Or do y'all think that it needs to be a 1:00pm FA instead? The window gets tight because the games are marked as 1pm and so I'd either have to start the roster lockdowns at 1:05pm or just leave it as is and do the free agency at 12:45.
In any case, since you posted it before 1pm on Sunday I was willing to make it so but alas Mr. Sherfield didn't get any stats.
