Aurora Realignment
Since there was not a strong movement to do away with divisions, we'll be sticking with the symmetrical divisions philosophy and be moving from 4 divisions to 3 divisions in order to support the new, longer NFL schedule.
I'll generate a new Aurora schedule this week, based on the new division results.
Free agency will open up on Wednesday, 9/8. Football is back!

ok, ready for a reversal?
I had some reluctance when moving to a three division structure instead of four, because I really like the smaller divisions. But it seemed that there was no other choice because of the extra week in the NFL schedule: Either realign to three divisions or go divisionless.
However, we do have an Option C (thanks to Ragnarok's Jeremy for this idea): Keep the four divisions and the 13 week symmetrical schedule, but tack on a Week 14 regular season game where the top 6 scoring teams get a Win and the bottom 6 scoring teams get a Loss. And then have our playoffs in Weeks 15-17.
I know I made that really fun realignment video, but maybe we should chuck it out the window?
It really comes down to whether or not we want three divisions or four divisions? What does everyone think?

I'll chime in!
While I do relish in having Billy in both of my divisions in Customized Football, I do like the last week being a Guillotine-esque week where you play all scores for a possible needed win to get in. So I would say while the video fucking rocks, I am interested in revisiting my old stomping ground guys for a spot of revenge, with the added twist at the end. Maybe we do the wheel of fate next year?
But, as always, I'm flex.
