I am giddy with anticipation for the best 4 days in the year. I CAN NOT WAIT!!! Which is why i feel the need to talk about getting tested before the draft. I am pretty sure that we are all on the same page with this.. but just to spell it out so there are no misunderstandings..If you plan on arriving on Thursday, you need to get a PCR test done on Tuesday, September 7. If you plan on arriving on Friday, you need to get a PCR test done on Wed. September 8. You will need to have proof of the negative test. MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENTS NOW. Do not wait and screw yourself out of the best time you'll have all year. There are no excuses. PCR test is the only acceptable test. I have been getting tested weekly because of my Job and my proximity to kids who are too young to be vaxed. I have tested negative each time with a PCR test and positive once with an antibody rapid test. Rapid tests are unreliable and will not be an accepted form of negative Covid. Lets respect each other, love each other and take care of each other. The first step in demonstrating those actions is getting tested on one of those two days in accordance with which day you are planning to arrive. Aw man... I am going to get so fucking high!

|

| Did it a few days ago through CVS. There were lots of spots available then. Presumably still true today. |

Test concerns

| I mam not seeing any locations near me, and test result times vary up to several days after the test. Should I try to get something this week to be sure? |

I'm now scheduled to be tested on Sunday afternoon

Test results can take 1-2 days and I want to be sure to get my results before Thursday. Also, testing is closed on Monday (Labor Day) and it will be difficult for me to get away from work on Tuesday. And so I choose Sunday afternoon.
I'll be doing all of my shopping for Draft Weekend over the next couple of days (already started on the beer stash), so after my test I'll be staying at home until it's time to leave on Thursday. In addition, Jacqueline is not working on site next week and so she won't be leaving, either. And we've started home schooling Mars, so he won't be leaving the house either. I'll be tested and then put on ice until Thursday, with no exposure to anything whatsoever. |

I just got officially scheduled for my test
|

| and Eric is scheduling his now. We are both having it done on Tuesday as we my have to have the results back before we fly. I know it's pushing the the edge of having it done a little early, but having the results in hand before flying is a necessity. We may also have to get a test before we fly back if trends stay the course. So that means getting tested again on Friday or Saturday. |

| There is an Urgent Care there that can give tests. Not sure about the efficiency of scheduling, etc. In Boone they do tests fairly easily as well. Boone Drug. |

| Jeremy and Sean, I see that y'all are getting tested on the Thursday the 7th and also arriving at the draft house on the 7th. I know that at least Sean is an arrogant mother fucker, but how are you going to get your test results before you arrive at the draft house? |
