Starting to get really close?

|
Hey all! Have decisions about the format and structure of the league been made yet? If we don't get two more owners, and we do "no divisions," can we just have 10 teams? Or is that bad math in terms of playoffs? Or if we do have divisions, have just two?
Just wondering.

I'll be spending most of this weekend finalizing everything for all of the leagues that I run. I'll be formalizing the ownerships and also setting up LeagueSafe to lock everything in.
We'll still have 12 teams, easily. Joshua from Minnesota texted me last night and was interested in joining Aurora and/or Midgard. I'm not sure, but I think it's possible that the 8bit league may be disbanded and any interested owners will migrate over to Aurora or Midgard. I'll also be doing online recruiting.
And so I think the only big decision to make as a league is whether or not we want to go division-less in Aurora. To remind everyone what the context is, the decision is spurred by the move to an 18 week regular NFL season. We can either move to three divisions and everything works out symmetrically, or we can go division-less. If we go division-less, Victory Points will determine overall standing and three weeks will have a randomized league schedule and we will not have a symmetrical schedule where everyone plays each other the same number of times (2x for division-mates).
Personally, I'm happy to do whatever the league feels like doing. |

| Joshua will be taking over one of the open teams, and he was randomly placed into the Solaris division (pending our decision about divisions). Joshua is a veteran of a thousand psychic fantasy football wars, so he will bring the hammer every Sunday. |

SO...can we have a vote on the home page? No division vs. 3 divisions? Although, I'm still torn. Would go either way, and even live with a coin flip. But at least a vote would give a good temperature check.
Excited to get rolling!
P.S. If you don't have a vax shot, you have to forfiet your VPs.

| It usually takes about two and a half weeks to finish the auction, and the first NFL game is September 9th this year. We definitely want to do it as late as possible, while still allowing everyone a comfortable opportunity to fill out their auction teams. Maybe 8/17 would be a more ideal date? |
