Superbowl Matchups!

Congrats to The Luckies and to Chief of KC for moving on to the big game and a chance to win the $250 main prize. Northern Exposure and Brigadoon Weary Hunter will also be matched up next week for a $50 third place prize.
We have two weeks off before the Superbowl and will be starting the new draft rooms next Friday, January 31st. For this final week, both draft rooms will be in Slow Draft mode and not be having a hardfast schedule. The website is being updated to support an explicit Slow Draft mode that will also email or text message the next picking team when it is their time to pick.
For this final week, both Chief of KC and the Brigadoon Weary Hunters get to decide if they pick first or second. Think about it carefully and post your decision by January 30? |

I'll have the draft rooms posted later today. The big news is that these new rooms will be set in the new Slow Draft mode that was added to CustomizedDrafts. There will not be a time limit on the clock, and when becomes your turn to pick you can be emailed or text messaged.
The draft rooms will be created and accessible later today, but the drafts will not begin until Friday. Because Superbowl Sundays are often a bit busy for all of us football fans, I am encouraging the remaining four teams to try to get their drafts done before Sunday.
Chief of KC is opting to keep picking second, and unless I hear from Brigadoon Weary Hunters later today then the Weary Hunters will be picking first in the consolation game for $50.

THE DRAFTS START AT NOON (Eastern time) ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 21.
Both draft rooms are in the new Slow Draft mode. You can mosey in and make your pick anytime.
Even better, you can set yourself up to receive either email or text message notifications when it is your turn to pick. Simply go to My Account and put in your email and/or phone number, and then in the draft room you can click a toggle button to get notified when it is your turn.
If anyone has any questions or runs across any issues, please let me know.

| I can’t log on. When I try to use my old password and log on info I’m alerted they are no good. When I try to register a new log on it won’t let me. I’m up in Washington state and traveling back to east coast tomorrow |

| I have gotten no notice about it being my turn, lol. Either going to have to post the picks on here, set up a group text. Or just someone on the clock. I will check my phone from time to time. We have already started the party here in KC. Last nights event was completely full they had to close the gates. Go Chiefs! |

glad to see a pick on the big board! Chief of KC, you are up!
i'm not sure why big Chief is not seeing any notifications. when testing, i've gotten emails as well as cell phone text messages. and Chief has no cell phone number, so this is a pure email scenario. i'll dig into it and see if i can find anything.
in the meantime, my apologies but a periodic manual check-in may be best.
