I'm out with my wife on Saturday evening so that doesn't work for me.
We can either do a rolling draft and put picks in at anytime (like Allan and I did in Round 2) or I can do Sunday morning |

they are sort of like the old school Play By Mail games (Play By Email to you whippersnappers).
feel free to run those draft rooms in that fashion, too. it actually sounds more fun!
you can edit the clock to start the draft anytime. just try to get it finished by 2pm on Sunday (Eastern time). |

Kinda busy this weekend and we are expecting another ice storm. How about we do a slow draft starting whenever is good for you? Otherwise the scheduled time will have to do.

i think i had sent you an email about this last week, Chief of KC? if your have your draft room My Rankings turned On, it will autopick for you when it is your turn. It's essential that this is Off if you want to manually pick.
1. Let's do a redo? I'll create a new draft room in a few minutes and post an updated link here. I'll start it right away and then you guys can do a slow draft all day, all night, and into the weekend if you want to. More to come...
2. I think I am going to remove that On/Off functionality entirely. I recently added the ability to create a Queue by selecting players from the rankings list, and then this selected Queue can be turned on/off. Which means the old, original rankings on/off functionality is no longer needed. By next week, that My Rankings on/off button will be removed and this confusion won't be in play.
In the meantime, I think if you make sure that your ranking list is OFF you should be ok.

here is the new draft room for the Weary Hunters and Chief of KC:

you guys can start anytime! a couple of caveats:
1. Do not put the draft into Paused mode (that happened yesterday). Even though there is a clock display, since the draft room is set for AutoPick to be Off then no picks will be made when the clock expires. Which means you are effectively in slow draft mode. (I think I'm going to add a more explicit Slow Draft mode to the UI to make this more intuitive).
2. Be sure to keep your My Rankings list in the Off mode. If you turn it On, it WILL pick for you when it is your turn.

Our draft disappeared

I'm assuming we were drafting and I was on my sixth pick.
Now the draft has disappeared as has all QBs
Draft room indicates no one has been picked
Not sure what's going on |

Sorry for the confusion...
In the first draft room, somehow Northern Exposure was set to have no human owner and therefore it just did computer picks. I'm pretty sure that I had it initially set up with proper ownership, so I'm not entirely clear about what happened.
In any case, Northern Exposure had not made any of the picks in that first draft room - it was all computer picks. He hadn't even visited the draft room. I cleared the board and assigned the proper team ownership, but apparently the closed out player positions remained for teams.
To get a fresh start, there is a new draft room set up from scratch (see the new link). Not only that, it's availabe for you two to draft at your leisure as long as it is finished before 2pm on Sunday (Eastern time). WE'RE OFFICIALLY IN "SLOW DRAFT" MODE FOR MAXIMUM SCHEDULE ACCOMODATION. |
