Here are the initial drafts and times for each matchup... Please feel free to coordinate with your opponent to reschedule your draft time as needed (even up to Saturday afternoon). All times are Eastern time zone.

I'll post the links to everyone's draft rooms before Friday.
I'm staggering it this week because this is a new website and I want to be able to respond to any issues in realtime. Next week we'll just set up a basic time for everyone.
And again, please feel free to change up your scheduled time if needed. I know that Friday nights can be busy, so feel free to move to Saturday morning or lunchtime etc. Just let me know and we'll make the adjustments.
We are doing our drafts at CustomizedDrafts. I encourage everyone to go there ahead of time and login so that you have an account. That way, I can also assign your draft room team to your account ahead of time and you'll be able to simply drop into your draft room anytime you wish.
Once handy feature of the drafting website is the ability to create your own rankings list and then load that into your draft room. We did a redraft league during the regular season (drafting our teams every Wednesday night), and I found this preparation to be extremely beneficial (vs just using the canned rankings). To do so, go to the My Rankings area and create a new rankings list for 0.5 PPR. When your draft starts, you can load this list into the draft room.

Official Draft Rooms

Here are the links to the official draft rooms starting tomorrow night. In order to access your draft room, you'll need to have a user account and also be assigned to your draft room team. I'm keeping an eye out for signups (and conversely please look for Friend requests from me, Moltar) and am assigning team ownerships as I see them come in. If you run into any snags, let me know and I'll get you square.

I'm going to also set up some private leagues for each of you. With those, you'll be able to mock draft our EXACT league setup in as many mock draft rooms as you wish to create. It just takes a couple of clicks and a new rubber-stamped draft room is created. It is this customized rubber-stamping ability which is the real power of this website, as you can effortlessly mock draft home leagues no matter how complex their setups are.
NOTE: All of these official draft rooms are set up with a two minute clock and no autopick if the clock expires. We are all gentlemen here. That is the default setting but it can be changed if *both* teams agree to whatever the new definition may be. Clock duration and clock expiration actions can be changed as desired. |

Private mock leagues for everyone

Everyone should see a new league that they own when they log in to CustomizedDrafts. This is your private mock draft league that you can play with all tournament. You can create unlimited draft rooms using the configuration of our league and your opponent. You can even have friends join you for mock drafting, etc.
Note that these are entirely separate from the Official Highland Draft Rooms. These are your private leagues for mocking and socializing as you wish.
Ian, once you create an account at CustomizedDrafts I will assign your official draft room team as well as grant ownership over your private league.

To do any mock drafting:
1) Go to https://www.customizeddrafts.com and click on My Drafts and you should see the My Draft Rooms page. On there, there are three collapsible panels: Drafts in My Owned Leagues, Drafts in Other Private Leagues, and Public Mock Drafts.
You can ignore Public Mock Drafts for now.
2) Click on the Drafts in My Owned Leagues and you should see a league called "Highlander [your name]". That is YOUR private league and it is a copy of the official Highlander configuration.
2a) Click on "Highlander [your name]" and then you'll see a link to "+ Create new draft room in Highlander [your name]". Click on that.
3) Define a draft room. You probably want to uncheck the Autopick when clock expires checkbox. Hit Save.
4) On the confirmation page, hit the Create the Draft Room! button. Tada, that's it! You've just created a mock draft room. After finishing your mock draft, rinse and repeat!
When you go back to the My Drafts page, for any completed drafts you can rate them for reviewing purposes. I've found that when I mock draft my main home league 50+ times in the summer, it's nice to rate the results so that I can look back and see what drafting ideas I liked and which ones failed.
On a related note, on the My Drafts page if you click on Drafts in Other Private Leagues you should also see the official draft room for your for-reals Highlander draft.
For those of you on a phone... I'm going to be doing a lot of mobile testing at lunchtime today. Hopefully you won't run into any problems on your phone, but if so 1) I'll be polishing mobile today, and 2) a larger screen works the best.

First draft is in the books!

The Efland Kombatants squared off in a draft room with the one only known as "Jeremy", and the draft results are in. After teams finish out their drafts, the players will be added to league rosters.
We both agreed that this head to head drafting is very, very interesting. There are a lot of subtle strategies that can be applied and that will probably change week to week, matchup to matchup. Very cool indeed! |

| Keith, can you look at the Skyhawks/Breesy game? I noticed all of our players were showing as on the bench. I was able to 'fix' mine on the rosters page, but Breesy's players are still showing up as on the bench. |

| i'm looking at the scoring and boxscores right now. the stats are coming in but the scores need to be tallied. this is the first time i've run things post-season here, so i'll have that paperjam cleared out shortly and then scores will regularly update. |
