Free Agency adjustment

It's always good to have a solid Rules Book in place, because it's a great reference for everyone and it can also prevent most controversies.
We didn't have a formal Rules Book in Drafthouse, so I put the first version together. Everyone is welcome to look it over and offer comments or questions, as the more details the better.
This effort was spurred by my thinking about free agency. Last year, we opened up free agency but it was restricted to players officially on the injury report. This year, it's just open. There are no restrictions about injury qualities. The reason for this is that we've already drafted the best 64 players that week. And it's a pain in the butt to track injuries.
That being said, I don't want Drafthouse to become a race to free agency whenever there is breaking news. Free agency sessions only exist on Thursday night before the game and on Sunday morning (two sessions). |
