A couple thoughts on the QB's

A couple thoughts on the QB's
I was just thinking about Sean's argument of quarterback relevancy. Why is it that they have such a late draft position, vs points scored. I agree that the premise of his argument is spot on. Currently they're just not that important.
Why is the highest point scorer on our roster, along with the most important player in all of sports is being drafted behind that same teams tight ends. Just typing that seems so ludicrous, If any NFL GM had the choice of a top five quarterback or a top five tight end, they would take the quarterback every time.
So why is it, that two thirds of Ragnarok's owners have their tight end secured before they draft their quarterback? Or only four QB's are gone by round six and eight TE's at that same point.
I believe Sean's argument is, "QB's are not standing out far enough from their Ragnarok teammates to be scene as a high draft pick worthy position", (correct me if I'm wrong.) Also, earning more points or expanding the position to two starters would create more demand. He is right, it would, but at what expense? If we raise quarterback scores, do we risk it just becoming a quarterback league? They already average twice as many points as a teams best running back.
I propose that we could increase the value of elite QB's while not raising their fantasy points. If we adjusted the points scored for passing yards. Eliminating points for 0-299 yards reducing the bonus for average play. For example, if a QB has a poor game and throws for only 150 yards he is still rewarded 4 points for his efforts. Isn't 250-300 yards expected out of a fantasy worthy QB? So why are we giving points for mediocrity? If a quarterback earned no passing yards until 350 yards and then suddenly they had 10 points for hitting that threshold would make consistent and elite quarterbacking a premium and therefor have a higher draft slot.
