Draft Date? Draft Party?

I'm going to throw out some possible dates and times, just to get the discussion started. Please toss in your preferences, work and vacation restrictions, etc.
Also, I think we may do a local draft party with some good food and drinks if anyone would like to join us. The Grackles, Commanders, and Hot Llama will be there, and it'd be a blast if the other NC teams wanted to join us. We may host that in Efland, but we can work that out as well.
As far as dates go, here are some candidates:
* Thursday, August 30, 8pm or 9pm eastern
* Friday, August 31, 8pm or 9pm eastern
* Saturday, September 1, anytime 3pm or before
* Sunday, September 2, anytime day or night
* Monday, September 3, anytime day or night
* Tuesday, September 4, 8pm or 9pm eastern
* Wednesday, September 5, 8pm or 9pm eastern

| We still have a couple of openings to fill, and so a later date may be the most practical date. Would Tuesday September 4th work for everyone? Is that a schedule conflict for anyone? (I know it wasn't on your first list of preferences, Jim, but I wasn't sure if it was off the table for you) |

I think Wed the 5th at 9pm works well!
As for draft order, didn't we decide last year it would be based on the final standings/playoff results? I'm sure if so, it's in a post somewhere. I'll start looking. |

Copied and pasted in last post:
* Winner of the losers bracket gets the #1 pick. Picks #2-6 are based on the rest of the results for the lowers bracket.
* Picks 7-12 are determined by by the winners bracket, in reverse order. The champion will get the #12 pick, and picks #7-11 are also determined by the results in the winners bracket.
* This picking order is then used to let owners choose their own draft slots next year. For example, if you have the #5 choice but would like to move down the draft order, you could select draft order position #10 for yourself (assuming it wasn't already taken by someone above you in the picking order).
* The official Draft Order will be revealed on August 1, 2018. There will be website forms that everyone submits in secret, and then when that date arrives then all selections will be revealed simultaneously.
...now I know why I partly remembered this. I'm fairly certain I won the loser's bracket last year. lol
