Do the top two teams from each division go to the playoffs.
We decided last year that is how it would be done. The winners from each division are in and the other two spots go to the two best teams remaining regardless of division. If anyone disagrees with this then let me know, otherwise we will just keep it this way.

I see the purpose of divisions in fantasy as something to create rivallries and competion over time. Basically, just for fun. I think the winners of each division deserve a playoff spot (so the divisions are not totally meaningless in the actual game). But, I certainly think it is more fair for the other 2 playoff teams to be the 3rd and 4th best out of the league, regardless of division. This is how we have done it in the past and I think it sends the 4 best teams to the playoffs.

Last year was the first year we did it that way. The two previous years we did it where the top two from each division went.
