| Fine with chipping in to have someone run the board but we always just had whoevers pick it is put it up on the board which works fine until the later rounds when all the drunk bastards start tripping over themselves. Also, we always did a time limit for picks, 2 minutes per round for the first 11 and 1 minute for the last 11 rounds. I don't remember a draft ever going much more than 3 1/2 hours. I'm fine w/Friday but would prefer Sunday morning since it doesn't sound like we would realistically be able to start until around 9 depending on location. (Is that correct Chris?) If we do it Sunday Morning then the drive to beautiful Efland wouldn't be as bad either so Keith's house would be good. You do offer church services don't you Keith? Is payment of league fees fine on draft day or do you want it earlier? |

I liked the idea of a night draft, but understand that it will probably start too late for all to enjoy. If the idea of getting half of the draft in on Friday and half on Sunday is appealling to anyone, I'd be up for that. If we have to do it Sunday, what time would we do it? Don't you have another draft scheduled for Sunday Scott?
As for the draft board, that draft kit (draftkit.com) works awesome. You go find your player, pull off the sticker, and put it up on the board. I've purchased a digital timer that will work perfect for timing the picks. I like that 2 min for 1st 11 rounds and 1 min for the rest . . . it gives people who are prepared a hand up on the competition. It also produces some of the funnier parts of the draft. (ie. drafting a player out for the season)
Efland is not too far for me on Friday night or Sunday morning. I am anxious to finalize the details so I can enter the data into my FF draft processor! |

| sure, we can all post our own picks and forego the middleman. also, i'm totally flexible on date(s) and time(s), so count me in for anything. i'd be honored to have any part(s) of the draft at my house, if the drive isn't too inconvenient for people. |
