    Good Tidings and Cheer
The Don brings good tidings and cheer to his new league mates, just like the fat bastard in December. First I believe I have made it possible that I could leave about 5:00 on Friday night. So this could make the draft start much earlier. Second after discussing the situation with Don Greenberg, of the Chapel Hill Crew, We can have a draft on neutral ground at Zog's. Talking with jd the OCFL has had drafts up there before. We would have the back corner by table 4 and can place the draft board on the ESPN sign. I'm sure we can make an offer to the Greenberg family for a beverage special. Business is generally slow until about 10:00, when we would be wrapping up. If I remember correctly we had a draft in that corner, everyone used the pool table for their desk, it was crowded, but there was 12 teams instead of 10 and two teams brought extra people(Thundering Turds and where ever the hell Deric was from). Bottom line is I think it would work, its close, its known, and like my favorite kind of woman, its available. Pass this one around. Krauss

that sounds great to me. the major disadvantage of sunday morning vs. friday evening was the lack of drinking. your plan should solve that little problem ;)

    that's great news!
looks like that should clear up the date and time, then. as for location, i would prefer a private residence to a public place, for reasons varying from budget (prolly 20 bucks cheaper, net) to seating (nice chairs vs. bar stools for 5-6 hours) to space (everyone can spread out) to smoking (>wink, wink, nudge nudge<)...

    one more small problem
it looks like Cliff can't leave Charlotte until around 4pm Friday which puts him in town somewhere between 6:30 and 7:00 depending on traffic. If we did the draft at Keith's house in Efland, obviously it would be sooner rather then later. He is bummed he can't leave earlier, but he is starting a new job and isn't sure what the deal is yet. He even mentioned that if it was a problem for everyone he would be willing to drop out of the league if we found someone else to take his spot who would be available earlier. I told him not to worry . . . we would wait for him!
