    new payouts
    With the 2018 draft inversion rules coming into play, the prize payouts for the top six owners need to be tweaked in order to not have equal payouts for different final positions. Here is a proposal for the updated payouts:

    1st place: $300
    2nd place: $175
    3rd place: $130
    4th place: $120
    5th place: $100
    6th place: $75

    A possible alternative
    The one thing that jumps out at me is that this reduces the payout for the winner. So along with dropping to the 12th draft spot, the winner would get less money for winning.

    Here's an alternate payout:

    1st place: $325
    2nd place: $175
    3rd place: $125
    4th place: $110
    5th place: $90
    6th place: $75

    The top 3 (and the 6th place) payouts stay the same as previous years and $15 of the 4th place payout moves to the 5th place payout. The winners of the 3-4 and 5-6 match ups each get $15 more than the team they beat.
