Food Adventure?

Hey everyone! Hope things are great with you and yours! Last year we did Gumbo as a fun cook-off (nobody loses/everyone wins). I'm not challenging, nor throwing the gauntlet, er whatevs... But I've done a Kansas City ribs recipe twice this year, and I'd like to share. So I'm thinking... what if we all brought our favorite team's "The Team's Food." And I'm talking from the perspective of the arena/fan food! Is it bbq, dogs, clam chowder, roasted corn, nachos, soft shell crab, hell...deep fried velveeta? Let's bring the "my fan flavor" by our Homer team to the draft!
Kansas City Ribs:
Kansas City-style barbecue refers to the specific regional barbecue style of slowly smoked meat that first started from the pit of Henry Perry in the early 1900s in Kansas City, Missouri. Kansas City barbecue is slow-smoked over a variety of woods and then covered with a thick tomato- and molasses-based sauce.

I was planning on doing lamb this year. I doubt it's a Pittsburgh tradition, but deep fried ketchup prolly isn't that appetizing. (Heinz Field...get it?)
Also hope all are doing well. I can't wait to try your ribs, that's one of my very favorite things! |
