Sorry to hear this Kent. If you are truly walking away, I wish you the best. You cannot be truly replaced for sure.
I expect to hear that the Falcons received a crate of special Gatorade from an anonymous source, later discovering that it contained a mild sedative that impeded the output from Atlanta. A gift from the opposing team? Cause Pats didn't win that game, Atlanta ran out of gas and gave it away. |

This wasn't a rash decision made in the heat of the moment. I have been considering it all year. In all honesty, I didn't the League my best this season. Even though I did have computer trouble, I could have found ways around it. Ragnarok is the best damn FF League ever, and it's because of the high level of competition. I know in my heart I didn't meet that standard.
There were several Sundays I chose to listen to music and play Hearthstone or Munchkin and didn't watch any of the games. That never used to happen. I also only watched about half of the MNF games. My passion for football just isn't there. Aside from my Steelers and the Panthers, I don't really give a damn.
Roger Goodell is ruining football and according to the ratings recently, I am not the only one that feels this way. As a kid I was a huge baseball fan, but as time went by I drifted away from it. I can feel that happening with the NFL.
The one thing I did still enjoy this season was doing my Scribbles. If there is no objection, I'd still like to write for you guys. Although it does seem that Sean is doing a very capable job with his columns. I won't rule out showing up for a draft weekend just to hang out and do some celebrity chefing. I don't want to lose the friendships I have with everyone, I just don't give a fuck about football anymore. |
