Not only does Chip Chipperson give his endorsement with a hearty "Fuck Yeah!", which should be enough, but Wikipedia has officially declared it to be the greatest metal album of all time.
Jesus fucking christ in a chicken basket, just look at the list! Hit the Lights, an epic song by its own right, is mere junior high foreplay compared to the coming onslaught of Whiplash, No Remorse, and perhaps the greatest song in the history of mankind: Seek and Destroy!!!!! |

The greatest metal song ever is "I am Ironman". End of discussion. |

There is more to the Dave/Eric trade.

To help with some later chaos, I gave Dave a mega buck till Tuesday so he can trade it back for Benjamin. Because he all ready played on my team it would be a problem for record keeping. |

For a brief period, Metallica was awesome. That is how Keith and I met. He was dating a cook at Aurora and the three of us went to Greensboro to see them. This was the infamous Black Album tour, which has divided Metallica fans ever since. I have been a hard rock fan since before most of you were born. I dropped acid and went to see Black Sabbath for my first trip. Top that, bitchez.
"Seek and Destroy" is a very good song. It may even be an epic song. But it is by far NOT the greatest song in the history of mankind. Let's first examine the fact that it is highly derivative of Iggy's classic "Search and Destroy". Then you stack it up against the TRUE hallmarks of rock'n'roll. Stairway. anyone? Even that goddamn redneck shit Free Bird is actually purer rock than some math metal ass noodly stuff. Bohemian Rhapsody encompasses every element of rock in one fucking song. Metallica was very good back in the day, but their suckitude started with the whole Lars vs. Napster shit. I am surprised that Keith continues to promote such a pro-corporate bunch of greedy assholes. For shame my brother. Now go listen to UFO's "Strangers in the Night" and relive what rock truly is. |
