in all my years of playing fantasy football, i've never experienced such a string of frustrating and wasteful trading discussions. this started on August 1st when i was trying to trade EITHER the #1 Overall Pick or Tom Brady and never had any serious offers or counters. it was a three week negotiation with at least six league teams, and what a waste of time that turned out to be. btw, i don't ever want to hear again about how the "bottom teams get screwed every year" because ANYONE could have traded up and gotten Aaron Rodgers this year.
and once the season began, i've been shocked by the clusterfuck methodology that now seems to be the norm when it comes to working out trades. teams put players on the block, spend days hammering out a trade agreement that they wish, then say "ok that looks good, but let's wait until next week." other teams tell me the trade they want, i offer the exact trade they request, and then they wait days just to eventually decline the trade (this has happened more than once).
i've only had ONE offer for Orange Julius, and that was a total joke of an offer (O.J. and my best WR for the #23 overall RB). seriously dudes, what the fuck.
it's ridiculous what a fucking waste of my time any trade talks are this season. let it hereby be known that going forward if you want to trade with me, 1) make reasonable offers, and 2) SHIT OR GET OFF THE GODDAMN POT. Stop wasting days of my time with this weak sauce approach. Everybody can go eat Joe's bag of dicks. |
