Free Agency

| Now that the Draft is done, when does the free agency period start. The reason I ask is since the draft, Dustin Keller (My TE) is out for the season and I would like to replace him. If no one has any objections.... since the season hasn't started yet, would it be okay to trade him with someone from the available pool of players? |

We'll start Free Agency this coming Wednesday 8/28
|

FA sessions will begin on Wednesday. That's when you'll be able to swap out Mr. Keller for someone with two knees.
Before the regular season begins, we will just have three free agency sessions:
Wednesday 8/28 @10am
Sunday 9/1 @10am
Wednesday 9/4 @10am
Once the season begins, there will be free agency sessions each week at 10am on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. |

Hey Keith, I dunno why my bids failed?
Can you fill me in?
I put in 5ph for both my failed bids, but it shows up 1 ph for both players, and failed, and weird bc no one else claimed brent celek who I wanted to replace my dustin keller? |

is it possible that you didn't save the 5PH bid values? Cursed Diamond also bid 1PH, but was first to enter his bid and so he wins the tiebreaker in this free agency session (before we all have W-L records which become the primary tiebreaker).
that still doesn't explain why Celek wasn't signed, and i'll look at the underlying logic. i've put Celek on your team (damn, that's a really nice pickup).

I initially submitted a waiver for Brent Celek once for 5 ph.
Then I did some reading and submitted a second waiver request for Celek and Hunter.
Then... I immediately redid it a third time realizing that I might have only done 1ph and changed both to 5 ph.
And then I checked and I didn't get both... although no one bidded on Celek... so i dunno
so maybe the 5ph bid didn't get saved... is there a way to double check your bids after you've submitted them. Because maybe i don't know how, but when you submit a waiver request, there's no record of what you've already submitted?
Either way, I got Celek now... Although I think I should have rightfully got Hunter also, I don't know what his max bid was, and if you were to give him to me now, it would be unfair plus I don't want to be accused as a cheater or whatever so I'll let it go.... there's more waivers this season I'm sure. |

best way to confirm bids

| is to do the bidding you wish, then go to your team homepage and click the Free Agency link, then navigate to the second part of the process (your bids and cut selections). with a fresh page load, you'll see what the database sees. |

Hey Keith,
I had a bid in for Eddie Lacy for the next waiver, and now he's not there and actually on Squirrel Masters team (which I played week 1). Also, I don't recall him having Eddie Lacy in his lineup... I'm wondering what happened, and how was he able to add him after the games have already started and take him off waivers?
No accusations being made, I just wanted to make sure I'm not going crazy or anything.

I'm apologize but I didn't look to see if there was an issue with the website before I made my post. If I could delete the post I would have. I logged in to check my Free Agency and found that one of bids was missing and immediately made an inquiry. I'm sorry and won't make the same mistake again.

I didn't take offense to it, just wanted to clarify that it was mah bad, and also that maybe you WERE saying that drugs had something to do with it, bc, you know... sometimes I partake in some drugs :-)
