last season's palace was awesome, totally awesome. i'm down for doing that again or for finding a different place. the 3 night stay was pretty posh, but i probably can't float that this year unless more folks were able to be there on thursday or unless it's a little bit cheaper each night.
i'm guessing that with any place that sleeps 10-12, we are probably stuck in that overall price range of $300 - $400 per night? if we could find a place for $200ish per night, that would be sweet and it would be peanuts when spread among everyone. but if we're stuck with that higher price range, i'm kind of up for repeating the mountain location because I don't know if we can beat its amenities. plus, we'll know how to use the stereo this time around.
all in all, i'm fairly amphibious. and ready to repeat, bitches! |

and it seems to be a fairly accessible location even for DC Stu. i noticed it did not have a pool table, but surprisingly we didn't really play much pool at the 2012 Draft. this lakeside venue DOES have a ping pong table, so at least the ching-chong Dynasty and black-socks-and-paddle Kent will be right at home.
and while a $300 range may be nice, when we are talking 10 to 12 people the difference is negligible. i'm totally down with The Lake. depending up on the check-in time, i may want to do a three-night stay like in 2012 if anyone else wants to join me. |

At @ $30 a night, can't complain. Right in the middle of the state. Shuffleboard table would be better than pool in my opinion.
And we can already make bad jokes about KC's newest QB. Yay.... |
