I don't understand why the score keeps changing. There was a score Sunday night and a different score Monday night and tonight it changed again and neither team had anybody playing on Monday night ??

homefield advantage in playoffs
in the playoffs, the higher seed gets a +2 homefield advantage in brackets prior to the big game (there is no homefield advantage in the championship game). this value was not being calculated into the team scores and was corrected. go Vikings.

payouts
since the playoffs were so tightly contested, i'm waiting until Christmas before allocating payouts. LeagueSafe doesn't allow for any undo's and so it's better to measure twice and cut once. the results look good to me, but if anyone has any input then now is the time to speak. otherwise, payouts will be delivered by Santa tomorrow.

payouts update
payouts were allocated via LeagueSafe, with the following caveat: Jacqueline is receiving $25 instead of $75, with the other $50 personally paid in cash from the commissioner.
This is due to two items: 1) The Middle Kingdom gave his league dues to the commish when they were bowling together back in August.
2) Wertzethebeef did not pay their dues into LeagueSafe. This was news to me and I apologize for the confusion - August was a super intense month and this flew under the radar.
Anyways, all is well with the allocations. Jacqueline will get a $50 bill from me and that will square everything up. And Jonathan can send me a check for his dues (unless there is something else in play that I am not aware of). Bottom line: all is well and I will be the one holding the bag.
Also, to make it official: 1) this was the last time that i will be involved as a middle-man for teams paying their dues. i've done it a few times for people and it is nothing but a pain in the arse as well as a source of confusion for other league members at the time of payout. 2) the dues deadline to reserve a team is now a hardfast August 1. any team not paid by August 1st is subject to being replaced by a paying team.
Thanks and kudos to all owners who applied the "Dude abides" philosophy and simply paid their dues on time. It is most appreciated.
