| When I first saw the trade I thought the same thing. My gut reaction was that Sean gave up nothing to get White. But now that I've looked at it more, I think David came out alright. He filled an immediate need at QB and got the #1 WR on his favorite team. He gave up less than he would have given up in the trade I was thinking about offering (Brady + Dez Bryant for White and Vince Young) - I guess I can scrap that plan. |

Sean definitely gained more than he gave up in that trade.
Now - rather than thinking that I might have a shot at getting White, I have to face him this week (whoever sets the lines on the matchups might want to change that one). |

So here is my take on the White / Harvin Trade
|

!) Even though he was scoring well I don't like Roddy White. I prefer to cheer for players on my team.
2) Though not impossible, the Atlanta Falcons schedule is very imposing for the remainder of the season.
3) The Vikings Schedule is very favorable for the rest of the season.
4) Before the last game Harvin was utilized increasingly as a 3rd down back.
5) I consider Harvin potentially franchise worthy, if something were to happen to Ray Rice.
