| I'm in, but I wouldn't mind seeing a reevaluation of the defensive points earning. If an adjustment is made it should be done early so team owners can determine the impact that any adjustment will make. As they are now the best of the defensive players are a waist of time as they make less then the most mediocre of kickers or tight ends. |

I agree - IMO the IDPs in this league suck.
I was in a league once (a long time ago) where you drafted a team Def Backfield, a team Def Line and a team S/T - all with their own unique stats (Def backfields got points for low opp. net passing and ints, Def lines for low opp rushing yds, fumble recovories and sacks, S/T for kick/punt return and blocks).
...and to think I gave all this great info for free!! |

| Wiseguys are in. Lets through options out for defense, I agree for such a large portion of the roster not a lot points are generated I like the fact that they are individual players, but maybe we need to go to a more team approach? What do yous guys think? I'll try to read your posts between beers at the beach. |

| I once was in a league where I lead the league in scoring, but didn't make the playoffs (4 teams out of 12 made it). That's why victory points should stay in this league...because I'm selfish. |

idea for point adjustment
|

1 pt per tackle
.5 pt per assist
2 pt per sack
1 pt per assist sack
2 pt per ff
2 pt per rf
2 pt per int
Safeties 2 pts
Touch Downs 6 pts
if you use this formula
Gibril Wilson DB would have received 90 points last year he received 31 points
Demarcus Ware LB would receive 101 points last year he received 46 points
Justin Tuck DL would receive 75 last year he received 33 points
compare that to
Drew Brees QB 225 points
Michele Turner RB 169 points
Anquan Boldin WR 105 points
I think it would be interesting to be able to build a championship team with a bad ass defense ie Ravins, Giants, Bears.
