So the Lombardi trophy should be given to whomever beats detroit by the most!

I don't know. Just because one team (by chance or by choice) goes againts easy defenses on a few weeks and racks up mega points. Should he be granted a pass to the Playoffs? If he fails to make the playoffs because he did not win on those weeks he played stiffer defenses.
By this reasoning I could score 1000 points in one week, none in the next 12 and still make the playoffs. Weak!!!!
That is the reason the games are played. Other wise lets make this a total points leage. Skip the playoffs and hand the trophy to the highest point total! |
