roster lockdown is at kickoff of first game of week 12, but that kind of sucks when week 12 lands on T-Day weekend... i feel like it rushes any last roster movement, between the FA resolutions and the kickoff within a 1/2 later.
would there be any disadvantage of redefining this rule to be on the Sunday kickoff of week 12, instead of "first game"?

Roster Lockdown takes place Sunday, 1 pm
the original rule was conceived before the NFL moved the start of the regular season to be after Labor Day. in other words, Week 12 used to fall after the T-Day holidays.
Roster Lockdown will take place at 1 pm on the Sunday of Week 12. Happy trading everyone.
