Rules question

| I see in the rules that roster lockdown begins at the start of week 12. For the sake of lockdown, does week 12 start this Thursday, or this Sunday? |

technically, it is on Thursday
|
|

but that kind of sucks when week 12 lands on T-Day weekend... i feel like it rushes any last roster movement, between the FA resolutions and the kickoff within a 1/2 later.
would there be any disadvantage of redefining this rule to be on the Sunday kickoff of week 12, instead of "first game"? |
