How clinched?

| Have the Flayers clinched? Not that I'd be opposed to buying some Flayer apparel, I'm just not quite understanding. The wordage in the rules is a little unclear but I take it to mean (and remember it to mean as well) that the division winners are based on overall record and not division record, the same as for the next two spots only regardless of division in their cases. If it is division record it does not seem to be decided yet in this case either - or is it somehow? Just a glitch or am I missing something. Oh what the hell, send me a Tiki jersey eitherway Dan. Quid's in the mail and I want an away jersey. Check that, make it an Akers - home. And some clarification, just in case it matters. |

According to our rules page:
"The winners of each division, determined by the overall records within the division (and not merely the division record), get the top 2 seeds in the playoffs and home-field advantage in the first round. The two teams with the next best overall W-L records get the final two playoff spots. #4 faces #1, #3 faces #2."
Rogues and Flayers are in the running for the Jaworski division title. Flayers could finish 8-6 and not make the playoffs.

| So the green lettering is wrong. But isn't the wording a little unclear "determined by overall records within the division"? I guess that and the green lettering threw me, send me an Akers Jersey anyway and good luck this weekend. |

Green lettering threw me too. I thought I had clinched a playoff spot until I checked out the rules. Overall records within the division determine the top 2 seeds. Record against other teams in the same division record is irrelevant.
Looks like it will be a very exciting playoff run this year. Any 4 of six teams has a good chance of making the playoffs. The Incident is alive mathematically, but needs a miracle to make the top 4. |
