I vote we go ahead and let Penland buy Paty's team

because, you're right, it appears that Paty has basically given up. He hasn't changed his lineup in 2 weeks and even started 2 players on a bye week last week. Also, he hasn't even had the courtesy of calling someone to tell them what he's doing or posting a message regarding the same. My position is that he has forfeited any right may have to any winning cash through lack of effort, and therefore we should just tear up his check, remove him from the league, and let Penland buy his team for $50.
Re: Ties - I thought the reason we selected coaches was because in the event of a tie, it would come down to who's coach won, and if both coaches won, then to bench points. Also, Rudy and I tied in the first week, but he won because his coach won and mine lost. I don't know if both coaches won or both lost in the tie between Paty and Bubba, but if that's the case, then maybe it should just remain a tie. I thought we had decided differently on draft day. |
