IR and the Draft
If a player is on IR for the 2005 season, when exactly is that declared? At anytime after January 1? If so, since I took Winslow off of IR at that time, I should have cut a player on January 1. I'll cut Mike Tice; don't worry Mike, I'll pick you with my first pick in the draft...
Since IR is a permanent move for the duration of the season, it seems logical that for draft purposes any IR player is inserted into the #25 Round slot for their respective team. Can we make this offical, everyone?
