I think that these are the main branches to investigate:
1. The NFL squeezes the game into the schedule sometime between now and the first round of the playoffs. In this scenario, we'd just enter the final stats for Bills and Bengals players and put them in Week 17.
a) We may need to think about allowing a change of starters for Bills and Bengals players if they have nothing to play for and will not be starting in real life.
2. The NFL declares the Bengals get the Win, the game to be a Tie, or does not play the game at all.
For the partial stats, do we count, disregard, or replace them? Options include:
a) Game is over and Stu wins, even though Joe had FOUR players in this game.
b) Replace existing Bills and Bengals Week 17 stats with their season average (only counting games they played in).
c) Replace existing Bills and Bengals Week 17 stats with a random week's performance from Week 1 to Week 16 (only counting games they played in).
d) Do a Head to Head live draft for Week 18, where only Joe and Stu enter the draft room and draft an entirely new roster to play in Week 18.
e) Let Joe and Stu determine how they want to decide who gets the 2023 Ragnarok Championship (there can be only one).

I think if the game gets played, use those stats. If it doesnt, I think it’s really up to Joe and Stu how they want to proceed since they’re the ones with dogs in the fight.
Also I wear my last place as a badge. It’ll make my victories taste sweeter next year |

| I think that covers all the options. That shit was crazy last night. Really feel for him and his family. Ultimately, I think Stu and Joe who are reasonable people ( Well at least Stu) could come to an agreement with the understanding that there can only be 1 champion (I think that’s important).I wanna say that it is what it is and the stats are the stats and it should be over with the best score winning. But what I secretly want is for Joe and Stu to do a head to head draft cuz that would be gonzo. Also, once again I am happy to be your loser bracket Champion. Feels good to be home. |

We need something that gives fair closure to all match ups.
I like the idea of using week 18 stats if the game doesn't get resumed. Not sure what to do if the game is resumed but starters are benched. Letting owners switch out starters from week 17 makes sense. Again, I'm open to any fair suggestions. |

Billy and I both scored points in that game and we still sit at a 3 point difference. I can be happy with pick #2… but. It was/is a close match. No solutions from me. Just pointing that detail out with the Blast Bowl since there were only 238 in attendance. All the given options feel meh to me, however we are faced with THAT word of the 2020’s decade again: Unprecedented.
Ugh. But Joe and Stu definitely have the most skin in the game. I’ll vote on any official moves.
It’s wildly exciting and extremely confounding at the same time.

What to do?

| Like everyone, I was super excited for Bills vs. Bengals Monday night. Kind of a playoff vibe with Raganarok Championship on the line. Of course, Josh Allen was going to have 5 TD's and move the Bills closer to the bye and home field. I am fine if we apply week 18 points to the players committed to week 17. I would not make any changes to my line up. Interested in what Stu thinks as he has Diggs going. Total bummer, but it be what it be. Hopefully we hear good news on Hamlin in the next day or so. |

You all lost to the guy who voluntarily wore a Mark Sanchez jersey for the entire draft.
Fortunately, we're a league full of independent personalities and not a bunch of copy cats. The last thing we need is multiple Sanchez jerseys showing up at next year's draft. |
