WOW, an official NFL stat correction changes the 8bit playoffs
|

|
The NFL corrected the official stats from the Eagles/Redskins game in Week 15, and credited the Eagles DF with 1 sack. This flips the outcome of the #6 Ludicrous Speed vs #1 In Darnold We Trust game, with In Darnold We Trust now winning 104.5 to 104.0.
In Darnold We Trust will now face the Missile Commanders for the 2019 8bit Championship. |

This actually could have been worse. What if we hadn't caught the correction until next week--AFTER the championship game results? That would have been some fun.

WOW I can’t believe it... I just found out I was in the finals, didn’t know it, forgot to set my lineup... my mind is blown this is some crazy stuff lol

Also, props to New King. He and Darnold ended the regular season on a 6 game winning streak. I reckon the commish deserves some thumbs up too for how he handled the championship game under unusual circumstances.
Hell, I'm gonna pat my own back for sneaking into the playoffs after going 2-5, and having McCaffrey on bye for week 8.
Can't wait till next year when I claim my first 8bit championship. lol
