Free Agency and the Playoffs

With a handful of new owners in 8-bit, I want to make sure that everyone knows that we do not have Free Agency in the last two weeks of the playoffs. The reasoning behind this is that we have medium sized benches and we want to reward good and prescient team management over reactive use of the free agency marketplace.
In the past, we've had no free agency for all three weeks of the playoffs. But that was a setting that was copied over from other leagues which have deeper benches. Since we only have 7 bench slots for all six positions we use, we'll be doing free agency through the first week of the playoffs. Plan for the lockdown! |
