| Eric and i have been mock drafting the Osage league on the CustomizedDrafts.com website with the official league keepers, and it's been enlightening to test out different ideas over a handful of drafts. It's kind of impressive to be able to accurately set up this kind of play-testing environment, if I do say so myself. |

here's how to mock draft with keepers
|
|
|
|
It doesn't come preloaded, but once you set it up then all of your settings are applied to every draft room that you create.
1. Go to CustomizedDrafts.com and log in.
2. Create your own League.
3. Edit the League > Teams and put in the names and draft order.
4. Edit the League > Positions and put in the position definitions.
5. Edit the League > Keepers and put in everyone's keepers.
6. Create a new Draft Room.
That's it! Every league draft room that you create will have all of these settings reflected, including keepers and which round they are kept in.
Even better, you can Psyche Profile any of your league teams. You can use canned profiles (Magazine Guy, for example) or you can create custom profiles and define which owner is a homer for a specific NFL team, what players you know some owners are targeting, aggression levels, etc.
Once you get up and running, you'll also be able to invite friends to join you in your league mock draft rooms.
I'm spending this weekend doing what I hope is a final round of polish for the website, particularly for mobile users (it works pretty well on desktop). If you run into any issues, have any questions, or have a nifty idea for a feature, please let me know. Thanks! |
