New Roster Sizes Enforcements
While the roster size limitation remains the same, there is a new definition in terms of its enforcement. Going forward, if an uneven trade takes place, the team receiving additional players does not have to meet the roster requirements until the first game of that week.
This change is due for two reasons. 1) any three-way trading with an uneven number of players would technically be illegal without this rule (limit cuts are supposed to be instantaneous). 2) no real harm is done by this.
Also, from now on, any team that is over the roster limit at the first game of the week will be fined 5 MB. Negative balances can be accrued, and any negative balance will carry over to the following season. |
