Tiki House update

|
I just got a message from David, the owner of the Tiki House. He's selling the house. So it looks like we will need to find a new place for next year's draft.
He told me that he didn't know if the new owners will be renting the place, but will pass on the info he finds out that they are. |

| Billy found a place on Lake Gaston that is about half the price of the Tiki house. And I still have a fantasy of being able to find a 4,000 square foot luxury home in the middle of nowhere (and which has good internet). It seems silly to pay for touristy locations when we spend all of our time being homebodies. |

So we didn’t “win” but my Kids had a blast. One student earned Excellenxe in Acting (1 of 10), Excellence in Movement and Transitions (which is essentially a Directing Award), and one of my Techies was awarded the Barbizon Most outstanding Light Design and Show Execution Honor which comes with an $85,000 scholarship to Greensboro College in the Technical Theatre major. The only award of its kind! That was the win! And it’s money her family needs.
It’s odd being 1-10. I’ve never had a squad just not do ANYTHING from week to week. It makes life simpler for sure. Even the shake up didn’t help too much. Just odd. In my other leagues, I’m 9-2, 7-4, and 8-3. And those teams have similar players! Goes to show how elite Ragnarok is!
I’m thankful to have this brotherhood year in and year out. No matter the record. The experience is priceless. Maybe I can spoil the losers. And I still do have a shot at a trophy in another league here.
